Two weeks ago my husband and I attended the WGGA Spring Vineyard School hosted by Wollersheim Winery in Prairie du Sac, WI. Our goal was to learn how to properly prune our grapes. We got that out of the day-long seminar and, oh, so much more (including a membership in the Wisconsin Grape Growers Association).
Wollersheim Winery is a beautiful hillside winery overlooking the Wisconsin River. With its historic stone buildings and 25 acres of vineyards, one feels transported to the wineries of Europe. I got lots of great pictures and several bottles of very good wine!
And a note to all you vineyard and wineries out there: If you need a new label or updated website, remember, I’m now a member of the WGGA!
