Hola! I’m Diahann, writing and designing from a 1917 American Foursquare here in rural, southeastern Wisconsin. The view out my window is awesome!

Old house living and God’s beautiful outdoors infinitely nurture my creative mind. So much so, it seems I’m often drifting from one thing to another. That’s okay. Life is just so doggone interesting!

I’m a graphic designer and writer by trade, and this blog serves as a portfolio for my business Adunate (ah-du-NAH-tay). That’s an obscure name, isn’t it? It’s Latin for unite, or integrate. It’s actually quite fitting because uniting words and design creates a rock-solid foundation for communicating a message. And that’s what I do for people.

I Write About Other Stuff Too!

Of course, words and design are a big topic with me. They’re so important in the way we market our business or promote a cause. But I’m interested in other stuff too—architecture, art, food, faith, sustainable living, travel…the list goes on. They say we should keep an open mind, open eyes and open spirit. I try to do that.
